What section 43 says, in plain English

Plain English

In force since 13 November 2025. Status last checked 15 October 2026 against the MeitY library and India Code.

If difficulties arise in giving effect to this Act, the Central Government may issue an order in the Official Gazette making provisions, not inconsistent with the Act, to remove them. No such order may be made after the expiry of 3 years from the date of commencement of this Act, and every such order must be laid before each House of Parliament. Section 1(2) construes a reference in a provision to the commencement of this Act as the coming into force of that provision, and G.S.R. 843(E), clause (a), brought section 43 into force on its publication in the Gazette, printed 13 November 2025. On that reading this site computes the last day for an order as 13 November 2028, an interpretation until officially confirmed; reading commencement as the last group of provisions to commence would give a later date, and no official statement confirms either reading. The Central Government used the power for the Digital Personal Data Protection (Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2026, S.O. 5458(E), which substitutes words in sections 9(1) and 10(2)(c)(ii).
